BOD incubator provides the required
temperature for the growth of microorganisms and allows to perform the BOD
testing. Cooling of the incubator can be achieved either by using refrigeration
principle or by Peltier element. A microprocessor-based circuit is used for
heating and cooling control of the incubation chamber. BOD incubators are
